SmartPlank is a revolutionary wood floor that tracks its own environment. This sustainable product uses a device placed under the floor to communicate with a mobile app. The mobile app allows homeowners to monitor the health of their hardwood floors and alerts them if the climate has become unhealthy for natural hardwood floors.

 

The goal was to create an identity that reflected the nature of the product - simple, modern, clean, and green. After developing the identity, I designed an app to help homeowners connect with and understand the health of their environment and hardwood floor. Once the designs were completed using InVision Studios, I collaborated with a software company to build and launch the app.
