The Rug Boutique specializes in luxury hand-knotted rugs made in Nepal. The brand needed an identity and product photography to kick off its debut as a branch of Schmidt Custom Floors. 

 

The cursive logotype is based on the shapes made by Turkish and Persian knots, common knots used to craft these luxurious rugs. These knots happen to resemble the letters “R” and “B” which helped to tell the story of the brand through the logo icon. I chose to focus in on the details of the rugs for the photography to highlight the quality of each handmade knot.
